I love Murakami's writing style and concepts. This story felt like it was going somewhere but the ending didn't feel like a conclusion. Maybe there is a deeper meaning to all of this. If that's the case, I didn't understand the message. Nonetheless, I enjoyed reading it.

For someone who has read a lot of Murakami, it felt a little bit like a re-run at first, with so many threads from his other stories. Eventually though I was immersed and really enjoyed it!

Yet another murakami. This one was so him. He so awfully depicted women while also writing beautiful imagery. I liked it but I don’t know if it was his most interesting plot line
