Si pero no. Murakami empieza a imitarse a si mismo. Mala señal. Aburrido y lo peor es que no hay sensación de que la historia vaya a ninguna parte.
Soy muy fan de este hombre, pero aquí falla estrepitosamente.

Murakami is like a Japanse Stephen king. Perfect world building but it always gets a bit weird with unexplainable stuff that borders on sci-fi or horror.
Can’t say anything good about the book. My feelings are neutral , and the plot was not a page turner.
Only... why, when it comes to sex Murakami’s descriptions sound so ridiculous?! What did her womb made with your sperm? Are you sure wombs act this way? Does really “hard as a hammer... to pound a nail” sounds sexy to you?

I usually ADORE Murakami, but this one fell flat for me. It took me seven months to trudge through this book. It felt like a chore to read. I didn’t feel invested in any of the characters, and the sexualization of a thirteen-year-old girl was a little icky for me. By the end, I was rolling my eyes at her obsession with her own breasts. I’m giving this three stars because the writing and atmosphere are beautiful as always, but I must say I was disappointed with this book.
Only Murakami could pull off such an out of the real world stories. So many questions and so little answers. Just like the Life itself. Altogether, one more story on the Murakami world.
A complex fantasy that evolves and winds around and deepens. The author of 1Q84 does not disappoint. Didn't want it to end.
I’m beginning to think Murakami has a well fetish...
Thank goodness I had the audiobook to help me through the 700+ pages. I would have never made it without it.
I think I had too much expectations riding on this one. I was really hoping for some 1Q84 vibes but this one was just pretty bland. Still okay for Murakami, hence my 3 star review. If it were any other author I probably wouldn’t have finished this. It kept me interested just enough to finish it.
I’ve read almost all of Murakami and I think I’m finally ready to move on to other things. Lighter things.
I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless you enjoy and appreciate Murakami.

weirdly fascinating. weirdly haunting. lived in the back of my mind for months so no matter how many times i picked it up and put it down i was able to follow along, slightly spooked. murakami's also still obsessed with boobs it seems.
Its Murakami so it's weird as hell. I really liked Mari, she's cute and quirky. Got a tad bored throughout but that's about average for me and an 800 page novel.
I felt that frequent depictions of sex were unnecessary and gave me the ick - I love a good steamy scene but these were cringe.
It wasn't a train wreck but also wasn't the best I've read of Murakami. Not sure if it has been accurately translated so it doesn't get a rating
