Love the Washington Poe series of books. Such wonderful characters and what great banter between Poe and Tilly. Poe wants you to think he is a tough character but his protective behaviour towards Tilly certainly tells you otherwise. This is a collection of short stories. It is a great stop-gap till the next Washington Poe book comes out
I like this series - the stories, the characters and the writing. However, I didn’t really like this one. But that’s more of a me thing than a book thing. I’m not normally a short story fan… so 7 of them in one book was even more for me to dislike.
I have series FOMO and hate missing out. Yet I rarely like novellas. I should really learn from this and just stop trying.

A collection of 3 short stories with my favourite book characters, Washington Poe and Tilly Bradshaw. I would say that you really need to have read at least one book in the series as the author assumes you know them, and there is no back story, but other than that, they are full of what I love, engaging and interesting short stories. Brilliant

I could read Poe and Tilly books for the rest of my life and never get bored of them. MW Craven is so talented in his writing of these characters. The interactions between Tilly and Poe are so believable and likeable. I wish there were hundreds more of his books to read
