I do think it’s kind of weird that Luke always seems to just have the right instincts to keep himself safe. But also the world building here keeps me so intrigued.

I like this book, however, it is not as good as the first one. It takes a long time to get into and then the action is all at the end. Even my students, who I was reading it aloud to, were kind of bored until the end when Jason's identity is revealed. So it is good, and important in the rest of the series, however, it is not necessarily my favorite in the series.

This one is definitely better than the first. it gets more dynamic because there are more characters involved. 

I forgot about the plot twist at the end but I like seeing Luke grow more confident.

i struggled to read this one, i almost abandoned the series but i am intrigued. the story is lowkey propaganda but my intrigue and the fact that reading is better than scrolling on social media lead me to finish it
