When jobs and chorse are done for the day, everyone goes to sleep. Everyone includes our community helpers. Markes shares an excellent tale about everyone in town going to bed. Readers can identify which community helper is featured on the page. This books also would make a perfect ending to a community helpers theme storytime or week.

Theme: Sleep
Additional themes: community helpers

B is not as suggestable as the average pre-schooler apparently. At four months, she looks askance at any book that says she should get ready for bed or worse take a nap, so this book was a failure for the getting ready for bed storytimes. She liked the illustrations, though.

Hilarious! This book illustrates what most youngsters think - that people sleep where they work.

Shhhhh! Everybody's Sleeping
Audio book for children, rhyming words, about how different people from different professions go to sleep at night.
Love all the different careers that are talked about in this book and the characteristics of their life styles.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

A great rhyming picture book with fun and clever illustrations, this bedtime story shows that everyone sleeps at night, even the president.
