I wanted to like it fully. The main character threw it for me. Maybe it’s the cultural difference being overshadowed by my own upbringing.

I'm settling on 4.75 simply because for a hot minute the main female character drove me UP THE WALL. it was INFURIATING how so....idk in her head??? she was?? like when jericho was telling her 'there were only two people at the river, and I know I didn't do it' and instead of realizing that her husband just wanted her to trust and believe in him she was like 'oh he thinks I might have done it' like bitch!!!!!! no!!!!! your man just wants you to trust him!!!! to believe in him!!! it drove me nuts and I KNOOOOOW that was the point it was part of her journey but holy moly. it was frustrating.
BUT. aside from how infuriating eva was at times this was a REALLY good book. I was hooked on the mystery and was literally yelling at the twists. I had so much fun!

MC was riveting, a fantastic journey through her trauma and relationships. Despite knowing the twist at the end, very re-readable.

Interesting

This book held a story of interest and intrigue. The fascination of a craft not well known. Reads fast and keeps you involved in the story. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a strong who done it storyline.
