Never heard of the Oatmeal but I think I have become a die hard fan, not to mention I have started watching my cats more carefully

Not as funny as I thought it would be.

A few funny bits but mostly guy humor. A little too crude for me.

3.4 stars…it was cute and a quick read that was mostly enjoyable. It’s has a bit of a mixed media, comic book, random coffee table / toilet read. The kind of book you can pick it up at any point and read a bit, then set down again.

I immediately really liked the book and was laughing as a cat owner and cat lover (crazy cat lady over here), but the last couple of comics (one about whether your cat is gay and the cat vs babies one) sort of made me feel cringy to be honest.

A cute collection of little cat comics that perfectly sums up why I love our feline friends. I don't really know how to review comics as I rarely read them, but all I can say is that this was great fun for the most part, perfect for cat owners and ideal for when you want something silly to put a smile on your face. The art style is nice too.

I did find the Bobcats section of the comics a little dull in places (shockingly, constant panels about cats doing things in offices is...eh *shrugs*) also, how to tell whether your cat is a homosexual felt sort of...outdated somehow? Almost borderline offensive if it wasn't so obviously silly, but it was still funny in a sort of quick exhale through your nose kind of way.

I also wish there was a bit more content.

Overall though, a fun little collection of comics which will brighten up a rainy day/ the perfect silly book to put in a bathroom/ on a coffee table for guests.

A fun, quick read that I actually started last week when we had no electricity. This book has shown me that my cat is actually plotting to kill me, but I know the signs now.

This book is hilarious. I have three cats, and this book just nails it. Many moments when I actually laughed out loud while reading.
