I loved Sleeper so I knew I had to read this one. It's Nico's turn and boy was this book so good. I could hardly put it down. I was already anticipating this book, but when I found out Nico's love interest is a single mom I was hooked. I think Nico surprised many in this book with how much he has grown up,me included. I loved how he is with Kat and her son. Tate is an adorably kid and I love his love of magic tricks. I loved watching Kat finally reach her dreams. It's beautiful. the chemistry between Kat and Nico burns bright and they have an easy way about them. The humor in this one is another draw for me. This book has plenty of laughs, but it as so much heart and feels. The characters are going to suck you in and you won't want to come up for air until you're done reading. I loved catching up with Willa and Shane. I love seeing how their HEA is going. An added bonus for me! I would highly recommend this book because it's going to make you feel good and right now everyone could use a little of that feeling.

*Charmer* by Kayley Loring
Name in Lights #2

Spice Level:

Nico and Kat...swoon. I love a manwhore musician that finds his heart in the eyes of another. I mean, it's like my crack, if I did crack, well you know what I mean. Kayley Loring has quickly become a MUST READ author for me. Her banter, journals, and heart radiate off of the pages and straight into my reader soul. I love her characters, her writing, and humor. If you haven't yet met her stories, go now, I will wait. On to the next book. I think it's called Troublemaker. I am already excited. xo

This book kept me smiling and laughing from start to finish!

Nico is a child actor turned actor who is drawn to Kat a single mom who works at the diner he frequents. Nico hires Kat to video behind the scenes on his new tour. My favorite part was how Nico formed relationship with not only Kat but her family especially with her son Tate. Charmer was just the book I needed to help me get out of my book funk and I love Kayley’s humor.

Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright’s performances were fantastic. Both narrators did an amazing job with capturing the emotions of their characters and voicing all the supporting characters. One of my favorite narrations from Jason and Mackenzie and added bonus is Jason singing!

The story and narration were both five star rating for me. If you need a good laugh and a feel good story definitely pick this one up!

I loved Nico and Kat! Nico was such a sweet character who really changed for Kat and show he can be a good partner. There was some points when I wished there was more development, but I also think their relationship was sweet.

Aww I loved Nico! And Kat. And Tate.

Really enjoyed both these main characters!

So swoony.

I love Nico, Kat, Tate, & Lou. Can we get a little follow up on Lou and Ricky? PLEASE!!!!

Nico is definitely a charmer. He’s a former actor, turned musician, with a gift for meaningful lyrics. He’s had his fair share of the perks that come along with his profession.

Until he stops at the 101 Diner and meets Kat - his server. You will never convince me it wasn’t love at first sight for him. She took some convincing, since she is a single mom.

He invites her to join him on his summer tour, along with her son and her mother Louise. Adventures in rest stops lol.

My favorite chapters came later in the book, when they got their journals mixed up. So sweet I felt flutters in my heart.

Great story.
