This was such a sweet follow up and I'm glad that Adib wrote it. It, again, explores the complexities of growing up, complete with talking about family changes, parental mental health, grief and death, and relationship strains. Was this sequel needed? Not necessarily. But I'm so glad it was published.
Graphic: Bullying, Homophobia, Islamophobia, Racism, Sexual harassment, and Religious bigotry
Moderate: Death and Grief
