I was getting into this until the plot twists actively ruined it. You’re led to believe these two simply have marital issues. But then… Ainsley’s husband is banging her best friend’s husband AND is a serial killer AND she knew about it AND remained married to him and let him live in the house with their KIDS?!?! She’s the real psycho here.

I will say though, the twists were definitely shocking and unexpected and that's why I couldn't put this series down until I read it all.
In all honesty, it was almost comedic - one twist after the next, one more outlandish than the next, but I can't lie, it was very damn entertaining and I was giddy every time a new twist was revealed.
If you're looking for some quick thriller reads to keep you entertained, and horrified in a way, I'd definitely recommend this series.

Well written, kept me wondering what would happen next. But…. Iww. I didn’t like the story at all, and it felt like such abrupt terms and characterization. I don’t know if this is just not my genre or if this was just a bad choice to take a foray into it.

Was really looking forward to reading this due to all the hype. Don’t get me wrong it was good, but for me I thought that there was just something missing. I didn’t feel that I needed to read it when I had 5 spare minutes of time.
