Really good fast pass quick book. 2 twist I was not expecting. One of the best books I’ve read this year.
I actually did struggle to put this down and I think I will continue to read the series, but for me I find a twist satisfying if, upon reflection, I feel like I could have figured it out or that I’d overlooked clues but the truth had been somewhat dangled in front of me the entire novel and this one doesn’t do that. The plot twist will leave you feeling like you have whiplash and while I did enjoy its sudden descent into complete darkness, I felt slightly unsatisfied by the ending and its barrage of plot twists that came out of nowhere. I would recommend it and it’s an easy, short read which I appreciate, but it is a shame that the ending did feel a bit random and nonsensical.
