This book has been on my TBR for AGES!!! I finally bit the bullet and boy did it deliver. This book is quirky, lighthearted, and funny but also reflective and a story on unrequited love. It’s more complex than most other rom-coms. There were parts where I was royally pissed off at the character but it all worked out in the end. I recommend! I look forward to reading her next book

Cute and charming, but they fell in love way too quickly in my opinion

My only complaint about this book is that I wanted more of Mrs. Nash and Elsie — but I know that Millie was truly the focus here. I loved this book. I adore a road trip story, and this one has all the best shenanigans and is so well plotted and paced. The characters are spectacular, and the way they approach life is written in a way that feels realistic and relatable. I love a romance that can interrogate big feelings other than love, and this one is full of grief, self-discovery, strength, friendship, and more.
