Wow. He "made up" another character whose name I know. Now it's just getting creepy, because he was my medical doctor in Molde. Obviously, Jo has a great relationship with his translator. I kind of wish he'd get an American translator, though. Since lots of his references are to American things ... presidents, celebs, etc. Just sayin'.
Picked this book up as the library was closing and just needed something to read. Little did I know how popular Jo Nesbo was/is and what a thoroughly engrossing suspense writer he is. I'd recommend Nesbo over Stieg Larsson every day of the week.

i love jo nesbø. his harry hole novels are awesome escapist reading and books i turn to when i am in need of a brain cleanse from more serious reading.. but this novel just did nothing for me. it seemed predictable and plodding. so that is a shame. luckily i have many unread harry hole novels. so...YAY!
