Would give 4 stars but there way too much use of the word “purr” and I hated jt

I dunno I just wasn’t sold on the romance portion of the story. The texts were so cute and heartwarming. The spice was very hot but idk, didn’t scratch the itch I needed.

Their beef was just really stupid and immature lol it felt unnecessary because halfway through he literally forgets about it and says he doesn’t care anymore

this was exactly what i'd expect from a darker college hockey romance.

i am not a big fan of storylines that involve "influential families" and the typical misogynistic portrayal of women in those families (and the meek/weakness from the women in those situations), but regardless of that i enjoyed this book!

very much good girl/bad boy, secret pen pals, brother's rival, forbidden romance, hate to love dynamic!

the dialogue could be cringey at times, but i enjoyed the back and forth between the two mc's more than i expected!

it also made me pretty into the idea of the brother and friend's upcoming story!

this book was only about physical attraction and that’s it

cute story but everything is excessively predictable. Plot is nowhere to be found. I'd read this again only if I was bored to death :(
