A very quiet story, told mostly with narration, but I found myself unable to put it down. Good book.

I wasn't sure where Harrison was going with this story at first, but I quite liked it in the end.

SpoilerThough not sure how their changes to the kingdom would affect George and Marit down the track. I wonder if that's addressed in the next book.

Not as good as the first. Perhaps the novelty of her writing has worn off. The two main characters weren't developed very well and the plot seemed less planned than in the previous book.

I really liked the first book, but this one felt so slow to me. I got bored and pretty much skimmed the second half. It isn't bad, I just didn't find it very interesting.

Eh, not as good as the first book,a lthough both are standalones. The writing style keeps the characters too distant from the reader.

This book did remind me of an old fairytale. It is a companion/continuation of the Princess and the Hound. It was a bit slow, but not a bad read.

I enjoyed this more than the first book in the series. It did move pretty fast with minimal details, but overall I enjoyed it!

good

Weird, boring

I do wish I'd read the first book in the series first -- I checked the ebook out of the library without realizing that it's a sequel. However, it stood alone reasonably well, and developed into a thoughtful fable.
