This was just so sweet, fun and original!! I loved seeing a different hero than usual, Wesley and Maybell are so perfect for each other!!

I tried. Don't like her writing style or these characters.

This book is adorable, sweet, a touch whimsical - (much like homemade donuts, which *snack alert* are discussed with some frequency) I devoured it in one sitting.
*Spoiler-ish*
I love the fact that there was no "Big Problem" that popped up 2/3's of the way through the story. I was waiting for it, and it didn't come, and I was so glad. The one, fairly minor, Problem that showed up close to the end was something that the heroine and hero were able to talk about (rather than saying nothing, resulting in a Big Breakup). I really appreciate stories where the main couple actually talk to each other about their thoughts and feelings!

2.5 stars. This book is so treacly sweet you may come out of it with a cavity. It had major pacing issues (the male lead barely speaks for the first half of the book), so I didn't feel like we really got to know him. Also, Maybell uses daydreaming as a coping mechanism and it is so intense that it was difficult at times to tell whether she describing reality or whether she's in a daydream.
