I debated reading this for a week haha and I’m actually really glad I did. I tend to only read safe books but this one was so well written and over the top that I couldn’t put it Down despite that. It was raw and say and filled with action. I really enjoyed it

"Even the Devil was an angel once, Alejandro. It’s only a matter of time until you become El Diablo, too." Words that haunt your mind as you see the making of El Diablo.

Today, I cried for the Devil...twice, three times. It was more than that. Today, I cried for the life he lost.

If you think it's easy to be the villain, you haven't seen it from El Diablo's eyes. Life isn't easy and death is way too complicated. Somewhere in between is El Diablo but hope you never make it on his radar. Good, bad, or in between- you don't want him noticing you.

Alejandro Martinez is not a man. He is a boy. Or he was until one fateful night. But when he becomes a man, he is no longer recognized as Alejandro. No, he is better known as El Diablo.

We all do things for our family. We all have different breaking points. El Diablo just has a different view on how far to go for those he loves.

A twisted tale of lies, loves, and losses that leaves you hurting for the bad guy. Never one to be pitied, El Diablo is waiting to unravel it all for you. All you have to do is...one click!

Intense emotions are guaranteed for this heartbreaking tale. It is truly a messy tale but an incredible journey to the truth. Part of you will want to hate it...because well it's El Diablo. But as we all know, it's hard to hate the one you fall in love with. And you will- you will fall for Alejandro Martinez. And slowly and almost imperceptibly you will fall for El Diablo too. When you do remember, this is the most important part....

El es mio! (He is mine)

Enjoy this intriguing tale. It isn't light and fluffy. It isn't a traditional story. This is the real story of Alejandro "El Diablo" Martinez and like his life it is messy and complicated.

OMG I really liked this book. El Diablo was not a nice man. Sometimes I loved him and sometimes I hated him. And the women he loved always had terrible things happen to them.
Without revealing too much information about the book I want to say that I thought his relationship with Lexi was heading to a different conclusion. But I'm really glad it didn't because I would have been devastated.

This book is fucking perfect.
My mind is blown.
I did not see that coming like everything flipped to 360 degrees.
I loved every second of this reading.
It was bitter-sweet. so many deaths, then torment of living a life alone, having no one to love, loosing all your loved ones....This book kept me on the edge the whole time.
Gosh!!! I think I am in love with Martinez...the Famous El Diablo.

Love to hate him

Or hate to love him? Loved this story. Had me on the edge. And a nice intro into Creed and Mia.

Do you like to cry?

Do you like to cry?! Be utterly consumed by the characters and refused to leave your room till the book is finished?! Ok then. Read all of M Robinson’s books. Just do it. It’s after 5am oh no sleep because I couldn’t put this book down. It’s 5++++ stars .

Better read this book with a glass of wine and a box of Kleenex. I have never had a book that took me from hatred to tears so quickly. M. Robinson, you outdid yourself. You will not be able to put it down and when you are finished the book will stay with you for a very long time.

Great storytelling

I haven't read a book like El Diablo for a very long time. M. Robinson was obviously not on a page deadline with this one and gave a chronological life story.
The cover... I never review a cover because oftentimes it is a quick capture for those [like me] that judge a book by its cover but this cover actually meant something... The man in this cover is exactly how the main character is described. This has NEVER happened to me. It was like she created this marvelous piece of fiction from his very image. Color me impressed, well done M!
I loved the dual pov of Lexi and Alejandro. The dynamics of the two characters made each chapter enjoyable and easy to follow. I recommend this book to everyone. Don't be put off by the strong title. I promise it is that and so much more.

I can't wait to read about the other characters.
This book is a stand alone novel.
Enjoy!

Omg, she’s the queen of angst for a reason and although I’ve read her books before I don’t think any of them did me in like this one. My freakin heart was being pulled left and right trying to figure out what Alejandro would do next. And his badass counterpart?? Honestly I admire for putting up with him and his bs. Def think this dark mafia romance will be stuck with me for a little while longer? Also the twist at the end?? I expected her to be related but gosh damn wow, no words and chefs kiss for the endless surprises.
