This was a wonderful short story, and it reminded me how much I love Amor Towles' writing. I can't wait to read his future work.

Lepo napisano kako on ume, ali priča me nije dirnula.
A i ova Ellie je karbonska kopija devojčice iz Džentlmena iz Moskve, tako da ništa novo ni što se likova tiče.

What a charming concept, imagining whimsy and wanderlust having minds of their own and going about doing what they always do!
The little gem is made better in Towles’s narration!

I was completely overwhelmed with a warm and fuzzy feeling the entire time I was reading this short story. I stopped in the middle to email it to my best friend, and when I was finished, I sent it to my mom too. Maybe I'll even attempt to get my little brother to sit still enough so I can read this to him. This is a story so fantastic I just can't help but share it with others. Please, take my advice and read it too! You might need to find your whimsy too.

A lyrical magical realism story about what could happen, should whimsy and wanderlust meet.
This was so very charming and a true pleasure to read - I didn't want it to end.

The charmingly quirky writing style reminded me of Lemony Snicket and Jonas Jonasson, both of which are some of my favorite authors.
