Somehow this series managed to surprise me even though I’ve watched it all. Reading it is completely different and I love that. Both the book and tv show are fabulous on their own and together, it’s very interesting to see how the stories differ and how the mysteries unravel in the books.

Quotes:
“A great man once said that right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.”

“But working…usually means doing things you do not want to do”

The exploration of what good and evil really is and the massive grey area in between is really interesting and the way this novel explores that is so amazing, especially for a kids book. On top of that, the setting is really cool and that ending...just perfect. Alright, time for the last one :0!
