The Wish Bridge is easily one of my new favorite short stories! Blake has such a unique writing style that is just so captivating.

Out of all the three books in the collection, I have to say that this one was the best. I loved every single story. The plot was more fitting to the whole fairytale and still so very unique. I honestly loved all 5 of them but here are my top ones:
- The Wish Bridge (4.5/5): Very fairytale vibes! This was a fitting start to the book.
- Avalon (5/5): Avalon took me a while to understand after I had finished it but Olivie Blake's notes at the end of the book enlightened me and made me love the story so much more.
- The Twelve Huntsmen (4.9/5): If I had to choose which of the stories I would have wanted a whole book on it would be this! The plot had so much potential. I felt like it was rushed especially when the characters suddenly just fell in love, especially Soffia who seemed so in love with Stefan and suddenly fell out of love and moved on to the prince. I mean it is a fairytale so whatever.

The other two (How to Dispel Friends and Curse People and Sucker for Pain) were different and a little hard to get into. It was so worth it though, especially with their endings. Sucker for Pain would be another one of the stories I would love a whole book on! I mean who doesn't want to read about witches AND vampires?! The poetry in HTDF was a little hard to get into for me but it was still so beautifully written. It was simple.

Overall, Olivie Blake's books NEVER disappoint. Her writing style is one of a kind and extremely addicting! Absolutely loved this one!

I love Olivie Blake’s character work which is really on display here. My favourites in the collection were definitely The Wish Bridge and How to Dispel Friends and Curse People. I appreciated Avalon which was based partially on her husband and the seven deadly sins. The character dynamics in Sucker for Pain were definitely compelling. The Twelve Huntsmen is a good story, however I didn’t find that it’s length was justified.

I would say the biggest weaknesses in this collection are the plot twists sometimes feel like they are shoved in out of nowhere, rather than having been built up to in the story.
