I started reading the Jessica Darling series when I was in high school. I found Sloppy Firsts in a bookstore that was going out of business and thought it would be good. It turned out to be amazing. Over the years I read the sequels. Fourth Comings couldn't have been released at a better time. I feel like I've grown up with Jessica. She's now the same age as me and going through a lot of the same stuff I've faced recently. I just hate that I'm already done with the book. I hope there will be more books in the series.

At this point the series has started to get dull and repetitive.

At first the change in writing style was concerning. Would I be able to fall back into the story I just finished reading? Of course I could. Jessica Darling has a very readable life and her thoughts and the going-ons around her make for pure entertainment purposes.

when i start reading a book series i want to read them all.. i really like this series as a whole but so far it seems to go downhill. i will continue reading because i still want to know how jessica and marcus end up.. or if they do at all..

having said that.. i was kinda bored while reading this one.

i like how i NOW understand the title tho it took til the end of the book for me to figure it out. well off to perfect fifths..

This was the last in the series. It ended the way it was supposed to end but not the way i wanted it to. but then, i'm a hopeless, and hopeful, romantic that always wants people to end up together in the end. this is not how things work.

i really liked the first couple of books in this series, and liked this one too, but i think i like jessica less. i love her snark and reading about life in nyc (which is so very different from my life in small town iowa), but found myself exhausted by the manic ultra cool pop culture references, made up words, and trying-too-hard descriptions. maybe i'm just getting too old for jessica darling... :/

I thought this book was a perfect and somehow still surprising wrap-up to a beloved series. At least I assumed it was the end. (??) Jessica Darling is in fine form here and the pop culture references are, as always, brilliant.

addendum: oh wait, there's another! wow.
