I enjoyed the plot of this book but unfortunately the formatting on Kindle made it very difficult to read - especially the ending, which is kind of crucial. I imagine would be much more enjoyable in paper form. Good standalone, interesting presentation in the script / newspaper excerpt form but hard to follow on my version of Kindle.

I inhaled this book in a day at work. I loved the premise and they set it up really nice too with the documentary series format. There’s still a lot unsaid and there is a bit of reading between the lines at the end.
So far this book looks promising and it's giving me "The Reappearance of Rachel Price" vibes which I totally enjoyed by Holly Jackson.
It also gives vibes of "The Liars" by Sara Shepard (Audible book) which I also enjoyed, so I chose this book because it looked promising by containing similar themes like the other two I have been reading this year.
Will come back to edit this review once I'm done with this book
(Update October 5, 2024)
It took me about one day to read this book because I had a lot of time to read since it was raining and I was at home and had just about the right time to actually spend a lot of time with reading.
When I first noticed this book, I was intrigued by how the description sounded because as I wrote above, it reminded me of a few good books that I have read this year and really enjoyed it so that was the overall reason why I picked it up in the first place.
I was kind of shocked that the book wasn’t written like an actual book, but was more written like a transcript for a TV show or movie, which is kind of hard to read and understand because it’s not like a narrator is going to explain it all to you, but you have to kind of figure out how to treat it and who’s who and all that stuff.
That was one reason I did not like about this book right when I started it because it made it pretty hard to read and focus on the main things inside the book .
However, the storyline reminded me of the book by Holly Jackson, a good girl guide to murder because it follows about the same plot, but in a different way, of course so that’s one thing I liked about this book that it reminded me of a few others that I enjoyed and that it’s kind of a murder mystery the reader is following along .
However, as I already said, I did not like the fact that it is written like a transcript because it was hard for me to read it and to figure out where I’m at, and who’s talking now, but overall, the storyline, the plot and how the plot was written were pretty good so I give it four stars

it was like a real show. the format and the pictures it has were new, especially for a mystery-crime book. The pace of the story was really good; first, it tells the info that everyone knew about like the first episode of a series when you get to know people and evidence; then in the next episodes you will face tons of info, and personally whenever I came to a conclusion that who might be the murderer, new info pop-up and made me have a second thought. I couldn't believe who was the murderer and WOW; I have never seen that kinda twist in the needing. one moment you think you got the person but the next page will question humanity.
