This was a very interesting style of book! With lots of different mediums to go along with it, this book is written like a tv script. Mimicking the ways a docuseries would be filmed. I quite enjoyed this read and it kept things interesting

3.75/5 it was good but it wasn’t my favorite. The murderer was extremely predictable and I rarely get these things right. The beginning was also deathly slow but around the 40% mark, it got a lot better with that big initial twist. I didn’t really care about some of the twists later on as much, but the book overall got more interesting. It’s kind of a fun gimmick and the voice acting was really solid also.

I bought this book because of the hype and the format fascinated me so was really looking forward to reading it.

Unfortunately, the format was just too complicated for me to follow. It took a huge amount of focus and I had to keep putting it down which made it hard to want to pick back up again. Yes, it's very clever and I applaude the author for writing it.

But a whole book laid out like this is difficult. And that's just my opinion because I've seen many readers love the format. So please don't let it put you off.

As for the story, it was intriguing but as I found it hard to follow, I got very confused. The big shocks and twists were very well done. But the end twist felt too far fetched for me and unfortunately I finished the book feeling a bit...meh.

I'd still recommend it though to anyone who fancies a unique read because I did enjoy the dynamics of the dialouge and the twists at the end of each episode.

This book sucked me in and did not let me go until it was finished. I would definitely say the audio book is the way to go for this one, since the TV scripts sound great but read not so great.
The mystery was interesting, the reveals kept me on my toes and I did not guess the ending (or any of the twists). It felt like a true crime show but in book format - you just need to know how it will end.
