I genuinely think I watched a hallmark movie with this exact plot like two days ago I loved it

I have been reading at least one holiday book at a time since Halloween. I was late to the Lucy Score world, but I loved the Knockemout series, so in my quest for holiday books, I came upon this one and decided to try it.
Cat is a reality TV star who finds herself in Merry after a hurricane ravages the small town. She ends up helping pull people out of the water and even saves the life of one or two. She wants her TV show to film the reconstruction of the little town, but the city manager, Noah, is not having it. They have great banter back and forth and of course, end up hooking up but she doesn't want a relationship and he doesn't want casual sex.
This is a 4.75 rounded up and it really did have a lot of emotions to sort through.

This is a little too much like an actual Hallmark movie. I didn’t read the other book in the canon but that was fine.

Really good book!
I didn’t like this one as much as Lucy Score’s other books. The hatred between Cat and Noah the first half of the book was a little childish, to me. But, I still enjoyed it. Still cried at the end. Still would recommend it. :-)
