Lucy score is one of my favorite authors and I wanted to love this so much but it just didn’t do it for me, very cheesy and a predictable!

This was actually very boring. I didn't enjoy this. The plot had sooo much potential but it kinda flopped. I also really didn't like the chemistry between the main characters - to me it just didn't really work. It was grumpy x sunshine but the grump was almost too much, it took away from the actual plot. I wouldn't recommend.

This was my first Christmas book that I read this year and I thought it was okay. It wasn't good and it wasn't great it was just okay.

This is a true 3.5✨ I liked it but it wasn’t my favorite Christmas rom com read this year. Small town and characters were great. Loved the story of the reality show coming into rebuild but it just didn’t give me all the feels.

DNF, not because it was bad, but because it didn’t captivate me amidst all the other holiday books I have going on right now. Made it 25% but found myself not going back to it.

3.75 stars. I picked this up on whim because it had a pretty high rating. I really have no complaints about this book other than I feel like it could've been a little shorter. I enjoyed everything about it. I liked the characters, the setting, and the plot. I thought the female lead was fun and the male lead was sweet. I liked their banter, and I was happy that it was not insta-love.

Cat is a reality TV star and a production manager. She is sassy, stubborn, and bold. She has her sights fixed on the perfect town
to fix up for the holidays. Unfortunately for her, the town mayor, Noah, doesn't see the benefits.

Noah and Merry, Connecticut, have been hit by a hurricane, and life and holidays as they know it are in shambles. Until he makes a deal with Cat.

Despite this small town's disaster and hot mess, the mayor, Noah, and Cat have some wonderful comical banter. I can't help but chuckle at the barbs they throw at each other. The enemies to lovers heat up as sparks start to fly and things get steamy.

From sizzling and hands-on to fizzled and broody. I understand why these two opposites can't communicate or determine their wants. Still, this book reads like a holiday Hallmark movie. This book has some winter vibes with the snow and, of course, crisp air.

I love the comical, homely scenes in the story that make you giggle and swoon. What will she do? This book has the opposite effect, with Cat being the fun-loving, wild woman and Noah being the serious family man.

The end of this sweet romance has me even a little teary-eyed. The epilogue of this book is a perfect ending. I enjoyed this holiday romance even though it wasn't entirely a holiday. It was seasonal and had enough vibes and a Hallmark-like story to entertain me.

The Christmas Fix
by Lucy Score

THOUGHTS:

I want to thank NetGalley, the publisher and the author for giving me the opportunity to read an e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

Ahhhh Lucy does it once more but holiday style. I gobbled this one up faster than I ever thought imaginable. This book is a must read during the holidays (Christmas holiday that is). Enemies to lovers is one of my ultimate favorite tropes and this gave that vibe and I couldn’t have been happier how it went. I loved Noah and Cat and loved how their relationship developed and grew and loved their story. The ending of this book was exactly what I was hoping for. I couldn’t ask for more in this book—it delivered. You need to pick this book up and read it, it’s a must read for sure!!!!
