2.5 ⭐️ I have a tremendous amount of respect for Dolly but she should stick to writing songs, not books. I’d even say calling this a “book” is a stretch. It’s more like a poorly organized podcast. There are snippets of Dolly’s songs played throughout so I’m glad I listened instead of read.

Added .5 to my rating because I now want to make a trip to Dollywood and learn more about Dolly. She seems like a great lady.

I love me some Dolly!

This book takes on a journey through time as we explore Dolly's songs, their meanings, and her sources of inspiration. It's not as much of a memoir as I expected it to be, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

4/5 stars!

Dolly is fabulous and no one can change my mind. An interesting insight into aspects of her career and her songs.
