The only reason this wasn't a 5-star read for me was the pacing. Overall, super wholesome, the characters were likeable, and even though I typically hate a roommate-to-lovers trope, this worked. Once again, Hannah wrote a MMC that is unrealistic & clearly written by a woman. But I ate that shit up. Lovely book to "take a break" with.

That was a sweet, mostly hopeful book. I expected it to take a dark turn and it didn’t, which I’m happy about!
