This book, unlike its predecessor, felt a lot heavier to read. I feel like it focused a lot more on Philosophy and Religion than on its narrative or characters (although Lewis doesn't tend to focus so much on characters anyways), unlike the previous book and Narnia, which manage to mix the message with the story better, in my opinion at least.

This book contains a demonic possessed character. Nothing very graphic though.
