It was a silly fun read. I was always curious about how the story was going to come together in the end.

3.5. I like Eerie Elementary better, but the kids still enjoyed it.

This book is pretty silly and I can see why kids are always asking for it at the library. :)

Book 8 of my middle grade reads. This book was chosen because it was the first in a popular series. This was a very quick read due to the 2 to 3 page chapters. This would make a great beginning chapter book for kids who want spooky stories. As an adult this book was too silly for me but elementary kids would definitely enjoy it.

Fun and accessible. A nice mix of humor with horror, text with illustrations and unusual formatting, and relatability with silliness. A very good series to recommend to those just getting into chapter books.

Creepy but not too scary, perfect for students looking for transitional chapter books

This was a great mystery for kids with not so scary characters. Loved the concept!
