Good as always. Interested in knowing what happens next. Absolutely dying to see the major arc right now. Damn, still more books to go lol

The Plot
Currently too lazy to write it out again haha, have a look at the GRs one.

Characters
Harry Dresden is as witty and sarcastic as ever. He's clever and stupid, follows his primal instinct sometimes, and still an admirable man. I love his interactions with Murphy. They're great. They have chemistry, yet, I think they're like Tony and Ziva from NCIS who have a great friendship, are really close, yet don't actually go that far.

Setting
Chicago I'm pretty sure...I could be wrong, knowing me, I'm sometimes not paying attention. It's a nice change from all the manga I've been reading, that's for sure lol

Writing
I really like Butcher's writing. It's really casual, really easy to read. It's also got a good balance between description and action.

Overall
As always, the Dresden books have a great balance of mystery, romance (or not), revelations, supernatural magical beings, and surprisingly a hell of a lot of vampires. Good read, definitely want to read the next one!

Pretty good! Did not expect Thomas to be who he is, that was a nice twist. And I always love when we get more of Murphy, she's a great character and maybe a little something forming between her and Harry? We shall see. I'm excited to finally meet Mouse as well, I'm a sucker for animal companions. Oh and Ebenezar?! Wow, that was a crazy reveal. Goes to show even those closest to you aren't always who they say they are.

I had a great time reading this book in the last two days. Plenty of fun banter with lots of new character insight about Harry, Murphy, and Thomas. And let's not forget about Mouse! I love the little guy already. All in all, this was a really fun story that kept me engaged all the way through. Can't wait to read Dead Beat soon!
