This was an odd little story, which I read at work mainly to decide if it was meant for adults or children. I would lean more towards adults from some of the language, but it's not something I personally would pick up in normal circumstances. The story just didn't work for me; the ending seemed quite abrupt and didn't fit where the story was going up to that point.

at this point, i’ll read anything by ferrante. i love the different ways she explores motherhood, womanhood, girlhood, and childhood.

Quite creepy.

Enjoyed the audiobook not sure if this is for children though.

Ostensibly a childrens' book. Challenging book for young folks, and perhaps even for adults. It is a bit terrifying in parts, although the things that make it so seem quotidian.

Well, that was... Short.

The book is written from the POV of a doll named Celina who belongs to a girl names Mati. There isn't much to tell without spoiling the whole story as it is, as I have mentioned, very short.

Pick this up if you need a very short, simple book.
