Like every book in the Shopaholic series this one had me laughing and in stitches. Rebecca continues to be semi-ridiculous and it'll be interesting to see where the series leads haha.

I like Becky Bloomwood, [a:Sophia Kinsella|4738534|Sophia Kinsella|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1303106249p2/4738534.jpg]'s version, not the Hollywood version.

And this is Becky's best adventure yet, because it's hilarious, and so real. We get to see some sincere emotion from her in this book and that pleases me, considering the naive leading lady we’re met with too often from her. This is a real struggle going on in homes all across our world.

Highly recommended.

SpoilerI am in love with their babies name: Minnie.

Wow, okay, so for this reread I definitely upped the star rating and I actually enjoyed it way more. It could've been me working out today, the football games, my dads chili, Netflix, or the wine I drank today. Either way I don't mind and I'm not going to question anything about it.

Now, Shopaholic & Baby was really really freaking adorable. So fucking sweet. I loved everything about it - well, except for Luke's ex-girlfriend Venetia. I can't believe I'm saying this but can I get the ever annoying Alicia back in my life?!? I at least expect her to be super bitchy - but this new character was just so fucking annoying. It frustrated the hell out of me how Luke is so fucking blind. Can someone get him an eye appointment?!? Or a bullshit meter?!? Seriously this guy is so fucking naïve about these girls in his life and it always ends up hurting Rebecca in some way.

I really hope Luke steps up his game in the next book. I hope Rebecca stays just the way she is ..well maybe not spend as much money as she did before. Then there's their baby and I cannot wait to read about her in the next book. I need more information about her. I wonder if she's going to be a mini shopper like Rebecca - I kind of hope she goes apeshit with the shopping but then I don't because I will sort of freak out about it..

Idk. I hope I like it better than I did the first time.

I was surprised I enjoyed this more than the previous instalment. Sure, it’s getting repetitive and Becky’s lying and spending is grating on my nerves but this was much more engaging than the previous book. (I just wish Danny would go away. He’s terrible. I was hoping he was a one-book feature but he’s back in all of his poncey twattery.)

Luke still winds me up. Why are they even together? He’s so disinterested and condescending. I did feel bad for Becky in this book. (I wish she’d just spoken with him about it but he’s kind of unapproachable so...) I also have to admit that even though Venetia was evil personified, I don’t quite disagree with her assertions about Becky being an airhead.

Yet I still like Becky.

Weird.

Although I will say again that now that she’s posh and wealthy, her antics aren’t quite as endearing. She’s just a spoilt brat now instead of a normal girl trying to find unique and clever ways to reign in her spending and pay her debts.

With that in mind, this isn’t the worst book in the series.

I was all prepared to stop at this book because the serious was waning a bit but I may continue after all!
