Very interesting story! It took a few chapters to get used to the old-timey language, but I managed. Tuppence and Tommy’s adventures kept me on my toes!

This was a poor kindle version of the original. Whoever typed this book into the kindle did not do a good job. Tons of wording changed (Instead of “Tuppence! Old bean!” was typed “Tuppence! Old legume!”

I love Tommy and Tuppence! I can't believe I hadn't read their first one until now!

I had forgotten how tight writing could be.
Flawless.
Perfectly cut ruby.
I will read or listen again and again and again.
I loved Miss Marple and Hercules Poirot so much that I never started reading Tommy and Tuppence until now. Am I ever glad I have new Christies to read!

Minus a tenth of a star because it's now 100 years later and romance doesn't play quite the same...
Plus any number of stars you'd care to name for the spectacular reading by Nadia May.

"I've been thinking..."
"Shades of feminism!"
