I haven't had a chance to read the entire book, but I have been lucky enough to have read The Marvelous Madam Mim by Chasity Gaines.
The Marvelous Madam Mim is a story told with Mim as the narrator. Mim shares her story beginning at birth with her twin brother, Merlin.
The story is well written and moves along at a fast pace as Mim's tale unfolds. This is a unique tale that gives the reader a look into gods, reading cards, old ways, and customs. It made me rethink what I've learned about The Sword and the Stone. It left a cliffhanger if you will, leaving the reader satisfied, as well as wanting more. I hope to read more tales of Mim's life.
I recommend this book to everyone, especially people who enjoy the stories of Merlin and King Arthur. I cannot wait to read the entire anthology.
