Idk what to rate this. Part of me wonders why this exists because it was so short that there was no depth in anything and everything was so convenient. But the other part of me enjoyed it and ate it up. So I don't know what to do with that information.
I'd say, worth the read if you are reading it via Kindle Unlimited. Don't spend you're money on it. If you are really curious here is a fully synopsis of the whole book:
Stella and Justin are poor. Justin wants to exchange presents at midnight. Stella has no present. One of the guests at the diner Stella works at overhears her talking about this dilemma with her coworker and says she can help. This stranger named Helga owns a pawn shop with a bunch of stuff. They end up doing a trade. Stella's hair for a present for Justin. She goes home and sees a suitcase is missing and that the kitchen is a mess. They exchange presents and it goes horribly. They are both super mad at each other. Justin can't believe she sold her hair for a present he doesn't understand (pocket watch chain) and she can't believe she got burnt brownies for her gift and that he doesn't recognize the sacrifice she made for him because she loves him. #toxicrelationship #shittyhusband They end with saying they may need some time apart and Stella's "ominous" last line hints that she may kill him later. Then the epilogue happens where Helga was actually just executing her plan to get Justin to break up with Stella by taking her hair which is emphasized as the power she had over her husband. The reason for this plan was because her daughter Angela just got pregnant with Justin because they were having an affair and Helga cannot fathom her having a child with a married guy so she must make him unmarried. The End

This wasn't what I expected. It seemed like it would be a similar story to Gift of The Magi, but it turned out to be a lot more darker. Freida didn't have the chance to build up the suspense and tension that she usually does. Could definitely be expanded to have that Frieda style.
I don’t know how to rate this but it made me laugh in the end
Very short holiday story with a fun surprise twist! It was a good 35 minutes of my time.
