Yes, this was an incredibly satisfying, albeit tense, ending to the Von Stratten story. This one didn't grip me as strongly as some of Hopkin's other stories did until about halfway through, and then I just couldn't put it down.

I recommend this if you enjoyed Burned.

I enjoyed the writing this book, I loved the dual POV's of Jackie and Pattyn. It took a while to get into it tho, when reading Burned I couldn't put the book down I was so immersed. It did get a little too conveniently happy with both girls finding love with men who are way to understanding and fell in love too fast. <spoiler>Also the mother sides with Jackie at the end out of nowhere and they make up. Overall I did like the conclusion and it was a nice ending.

I did like this a little less then burned. It was still really good and I liked that Jackie had a POV. This deals with a lot of heavy topics so look up trigger warnings. I do love how the girls grew to be so strong.
