Pamela is finally starting to get her act together again. She was so solid at the start of the series but she's been getting on my nerves with the love life stuff. Go to therapy and/or just talk it out. Always with the "I said never to talk about him again" stuff. He's YOUR NEIGHBOR. He's going to be talked about and seen esp since your daughter is best friends with his two and Wilfred is bff's with him. You're an editor but you can still write, so f-ing journal. Glad she is going out with Brian. IDC if they get together but I need her to stop being weird to Richard and his gf and kids. So awkward.

Also, Bettina needs to get tf over her thing against making gender neutral knits for her grandchild. Nell is always calling her in, Pamela is always silent, and sometimes they change the subject. Yes, they are just colors. Pink doesn't have to mean anything, but it does especially in babyland and with the rise of gender reveal parties and the ongoing pink tax. I am nonbinary and I like a ton of different colors including pink, but if the parents want to stand against gender norms to make their kid feel they can choose their colors and identity on their own, respect the parents and make something dif, Bettina, ffs! You got the whole rainbow. You can do green or purple or yellow or orange or red or white or black. Haven't You paid attention in the yarn shop in Haversack or wherever??? You don't have to make that kid be another victim of the Sad Beige (or Mauve according to Holly ???) Child trend. Make a hat with bear ears or a sweater with clouds on it. If I hear (yes hear bc audiobooks thank you CalliešŸ™) her complain one more time istG I'm gonna go Karen on that Bitctional character. It is realistic that there are people in generations older than me just don't understand. And it's so annoying. I already get misgendered and f-ed over enough in my life as it is. I need a little less silence from everyone else at least. If I can't get some back up in my real life then I need it from my beloved characters. Nell's got it right but come on Holly, I expected more from you. And Pamela, as someone who always tells Bettina to shut up about Richard, ik you have it in you to tell Bettina to keep the pity party for pink suppression to herself and/or Wilfred. In post-Barbie Movieā„¢ era ???? Not on my watch. (Ik the book was written and published before but I'm reading it now so it can catch up to ME). Shout out to Wilfred, though. He is "just so awesome!"

I received a copy of Knitty Gritty Murder through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Knitty Gritty Murder is the seventh mystery in the Knit & Nibble Mystery series. In this cozy mystery, Pamela Paterson and her neighbor and friend, Bettina, take it upon themselves to solve a knitting related mystery in the community gardens.

I have read every book in the Knit & Nibble Mystery series and I love each book more than the next. The characters are great, interesting and relatable. The setting is nice and homey, making you want to live in Arborville with them. The mystery is intriguing, but light hearted. I absolutely love everything about this series and this book is no different. This cozy mystery is definitely worth the time!

4.5 stars, great characters that I enjoyed spending time with. You don't have to be a knitter to enjoy the book.

Another NetGalley Catch Up book.

In this installment, another resident of Arborville is found murdered, this time in a community garden with circular knitting needles wrapped around their throat! And once again, Pamela and Bettina are on the hunt to find the killer.

I actually enjoyed this book, and I am not sure if it is something different with the writing style or if it is because I listened to the audio, but I enjoyed this book more than I have others in the past.

Book 7 in the series. While this book can be read as a stand alone, there are a lot of characters and you'll be happier if you start from the beginning.

I have read just about every knitting mystery series there is, and this series is one of the keepers. It took me a bit of time in the first book to warm up to them, but now I happily greet each new book in the series. And this one is probably my favorite so far. Can you beat death by circular needle?!

The Knit and Nibblers are a lovely group, with Pamela and Bettina taking the main character spots, and of course the cats always add more fun with their brief appearances. This book added gardening to the knitting and I was sold.

My only complaint about the series is the author still goes in to way too much detail about the food that gets served at each get together.

*I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book provided by the publisher, via NetGalley.*

Cute kitties, yummy baked treats, and knitting - all wrapped up in murder - makes another great installment in the Knit and Nibble Mystery series. Pamela, with her neighbor and fellow knit group member, Bettina try not to get wrapped up in the latest murder. But, as each victim is found with knitting needles wrapped around their throats, the women get drawn in. They know they didn't commit the murders, who else in town is a knitter, and how safe is it to nose around and ask that question? Arborville, NJ is a lovely setting and all the knit club women could easily be your friend. You don't need to have read any others in the series to enjoy this one.

I read all the books in this series as I love Pamela, Bettina and the cats.
This was an excellent addition, an engrossing and entertaining story.
I appreciated that there are some possible changes in Pamela's life and the solid mystery that kept me guessing.
I found the part about Pamela's work as fascinating as usual.
It's highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Peggy's books are so much fun! I love the Knit and Nibble group, after reading about the desserts served at each meeting I am always hungry.

Peggy did a great job of keeping me guessing about who the murderer was throughout the whole book. Once the murderer is revealed and it is explained how they figured it out, I was very impressed, I completely missed those little Easter eggs.

I also love the fact that Peggy includes recipes and a knitting pattern at the end of her book. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
