The characters were kind of boring. The male lead was too perfect. He did one thing that wasn’t good and even that wasn’t that bad. He was an overall flat character with no flaws. He was like the type of character in a show that the FL likes but fake dates someone else to get his attention and ends up falling for the guy she’s fake dating. The conflict was uncharacteristically random. A lot of their moments seemed to be off screen so I wasn’t too connected to the main couple. But I enjoyed the FL relationship with her sister and her friend. All other conflicts, like her dad, we’re kind of left unresolved.

I dont think she ever reconciled with the dirty birds after their confrontation. The situation with Conner also wasn’t discussed after he spoke with her about selling the Book Nook.
