Thanks to NetGalley for an e-ARC of Better than Fiction. I like the the storyline of this book. The chemistry of the leads was on point. It was a good read other than a few cuss words. I'm giving this a 3 out of 5 stars, I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was a cute and tasteful romance book. Not my usual genre, due to conflict that is wont to appear just when the happy couple is at their happiest (and that could be easily resolved with a civil conversation)... and though that did appear here, I liked it! Fun read, especially if you like book stores and romance.

Easy read (or listen on an e-book). Very lovely romcom about opposites which always works. Nicely written and nice not to see any toxic masculinity in characters

Can't believe I let this one sit on my TBR as long as I did. Alexa Martin is one of my favorite romance authors and her books are always insta-adds to my 'To Read' list, but this one might have been my absolute favorite yet. It's got the amazing female friendships and sprinkling of real world struggle that I like in her writing. Plus "Jasper Williams, Author" the most adorable, swoon-worthy hero I've read in a minute.

An enjoyable romance novel, set in a bookshop in Colorado, will make you smile, cry, and laugh. Drew inherits her grandmothers bookstore; Drew is heartbroken to lose her grandmother. An aspiring photographer, Drew doesn’t read books but is determined to continue her grandmother’s legacy. The Dirty Birds, a book club of her grandmother’s friends, provide humor, while an author of romances, Jasper Williams provides the romantic interest. At times steamy, the book will definitely hold your interest. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Recommended.
