A nice easy read to turn your brain off. I used it as a book to read during naptime or at rehearsal; would also be good for a beach read.

Ooooof folks I was not a fan. The main character rubbed me the wrong way, even the way she was written, and the love interest had zero flaws (and therefore zero personality). The subplots were interesting but lord I'm happy to be done with this one.

Very cute and heartwarming book !! Loved this !!

A spunky photographer who doesn't like to read inherits a bookstore from her beloved grandmother. A hunky romance author visits the store for a book signing and needs a tour guide. Cue the romance!

I picked this up on the whim because the book description sounded adorable. I mean, a romance in a bookstore setting? Yes, please!

While it is, indeed, a sweet story with a classic happy ending, I couldn't help but want a little more. It has a lot of nice elements that I feel could be developed further to make it even better:
-The MCs are supposed to go on a series of dates to tour Colorado. The reader gets to go along on some of these, but I would have liked to look in on a little more of their developing relationship. I can appreciate when an author moves a story along, but there's a point where multiple weeks of date time is skipped.
-The best friend, the sister, and the book club of meddling old ladies are great! I also would have liked to spend more time with them.

Overall, a quick, cute story.

This was such a cute book about Drew, a non-reading up and coming photographer, who becomes the owner of her grandmother's book shop in Denver after her grandmother dies.  Her father, who she has been estranged from all her life, suddenly is in the picture big time because he feels slighted.  Enter a romance author, Jasper Williams, who comes for an author event/signing, who Drew is instantly drawn to, as he is to her.  They come up with a deal, she will show him around Denver and the surrounding towns, exploring all there is to offer, and she'll read his list of recommended books. It's a win/win - he gets first hand info for the setting of his next book, and she starts reading and gets back out into the world and her photography. They quickly act on their mutual attraction, until Drew finds out about a little secret Jasper has been keeping from her.  Will this secret change things forever?
