This books was pretty boring. I didn't really finish it and just skimmed that last half. But it had some interesting plot lines and concepts that interested me so I'll probably pick up the sequel if there's one.

Well there are a lot of bad reviews about his book, and I can see where is it coming from ( a white race describe as good, and a darker race describe as violent, savages and analphabets?) But, I mean I'm pretty sure the author didn't realize the mistake anyhow she is white privileged so its not her fault and she didn't do it with a bad intention. They do show a good side of the shotet race, Anyhow I enjoyed the story it's not unique or special but is good for a casual reading.
Honestly wasn’t sure what I was getting with this one to start with. Very slow. And I mean very slow but I personally found it worth it and it still held my attention and I was not disappointed by the time I got to the end. If you’ve read divergent then it’s about the same pace as that, quite slow for 3/4 of the book and then Bam action packed last quarter.

I'm not really a Divergent fan, so my expectations for this book were quite low, which is probably why I was so surprised! I really enjoyed the story, it reminded me bit of The Diabolic, but it went into completly different direction. I also loved the currentgifts, I think Veronica came up with truly amazing ones! The characters were a bit dull in my opinion, but I still enjoyed their friendship!
