It wasn't quite as good as the other books... but still a worth-while read.

I'm blown away by this, it's so insane (back to when king used too much drugs lmao) and that ending??? I need to read the 4th book as soon as possible and I LOVE the characters, even the romance between two of them, not cheesy at all

One of the best fantasy books I’ve read and easily my favorite in the series so far.

These books just keep getting more and more awesome. I can't wait until Mike Flanagan brings Blaine the Mono to the screen.

Stephen King asked the question “what if Thomas the Tank Engine had the personality of Jigsaw” and wrote this book

Edit - It's been 2 days since I finished The Waste Lands and all of my slight reservations have disappeared. The more it's sat with me the more I like and appreciate the book. 5 stars all the way.

I just finished this about 5 minutes ago so am still processing this read, but I'm not sure how I feel about this book. A lot of people say this is among their favourite Dark Tower novels but I think I preferred The Drawing of the Three. Maybe I was expecting too much but , boy, it was still a great read but just lacked that certain something to make it a 5 star.

I'm not sure if I'll dive straight in and read book 4 next. I have Wizard and Glass on my shelf but my copy is 840 pages long. 840 PAGES! And I've heard the vast majority of this book is made up of Rolands backstory - hmmm; whilst his backstory is no doubt important, I can't say I'm looking forward to taking that massive journey.
