I read this on vacation in mexico. This was the first horror book I’ve read that actually scared me. It was so beautiful and horrible, I love it so much

4/5 ⭐️ Creepy, eerie, and atmospheric! What a unique yet utterly disturbing plot with a cast of (mostly) unlikeable characters. I loved it! However, I wish the tension would’ve slowly built up and kept me hooked, but instead it felt a little flat in the middle 1/3 of the book.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Moments where I could picture the visual so well that I had forgotten if I was reading a book or watching a movie. Enjoyed the touch of botany and the empowering female lead.

Le tengo que poner 3 estrellas con mucha pena porque la portada me encanta y esperaba más del libro.
Antes de empezar a leerlo ni sabía mucho de qué iba, salvo que lo calificaban color terror.
Para mí no es terror, aunque tampoco he leído muchos libros de este género, es más que el ambiente es un poco tétrico.
El problema principal que he tenido con el libro es que no me ha terminado de enganchar, no estaba deseando seguir leyendo. La historia no me ha terminado de conquistar.
