Cute but not very spicy nor very dramatic. If low stakes are more your thing you’ll like this.

I was hoping to like this book and was just very disappointed instead.
The book lacked! A LOT! It lacked a believable romance and relationship development between Karter and Dreamy. There was no real reason for their trust and love for one another and as much as I can enjoy an Insta-love book, this was not it.
It lacked depth for our heroine. The idea that Dreamy has for her nonprofit is great and I would have loved to see more of her motivation and the process of creating it.
The conflicts presented in this book, both with her boss Gordon, Karter’s mom, and her mom just feel glossed over and wrapped up without showing any growth for any of the characters involved. Just weird.
Yea, I want to try and read this author again in the future but this was quite a disappointing start.

Started off really good, but got boring towards the end. I thought this would be solid 4 or 5 star read, but sadly it isn't. Had some really funny scenes, I have to admit.

uddenly I want to marry cutie pie Karter with a K… SWOON!!! 😍😍😍
We love to see POC being represented in a positive way. Specifically in the book, two different walks of lifeend up crazy in love . Not only is Karter TO DIE FOR, Dreamy is a dream chaser! Couldn’t have picked a better name for her. She is determined, does not take no for an answer, and doesn’t need anyone’s help but her own. We love an independent woman moment.
This was a cute and easy read and well written in my opinion. There were parts that made me giggle and times where I could totally feel for the characters…such relatable people. I feel like I’m friends with them now. When Dreamy >spoiler< finally won the lottery at the end >spoiler<, I was sooo happy for her. She deserved it!!
