I really love how realistic their intimate (bed) scenes were written & drawn.
It wasn’t just hot & steamy like it’s usually portrayed, but actually something intimate & delicate, with consent and talking about it. Which can be awkward, but shows the maturity of the author.

I would have been totally fine with the first volume being a one-shot. Honestly, opening up the series tab to see this had four more volumes knocked an entire star off.
I found Mio to be just a little bit annoying— I felt for him, but he didn’t seem to actually grow that much when he went away with how he was behaving when he returned, and maybe it’s the asexual in me but his obsession with being a good sex partner when Shun never gave any indication that he needed or wanted that from him was a very confusing storyline. The premature ejaculation scene was funny as hell though.

I really wanted to like this book, because the art is gorgeous, and the premise intrigued me. However, it just feels extremely loosely put together, and it's hard to follow why the characters do what they do. There's ideas there, but they feel more like they're rushing to hit point after point instead of actually developing.
However, if you're just in the mood for some chill BL that's different than a lot of the available options on the localized market, without caring too deep about how well it's written, you might enjoy it. After all, the art is gorgeous, and the base of the characters and plot are fine.

Why are they so dang cute?!?! I can’t handle it. I loved there back and forth after years of seeing each other. The little fights here and there from their general awkwardness around each other as well. I think I’m really going to love these characters as the series continues.
