Honestly I was so frustrated with Sammi/Julz and the situation the entire time. I feel like time was wasted with her having sex with Dornan so much like what even is the point!? (Speaking of, like why are we reading so many sex scenes of with her damn rapist and failed murderer? I get some of it was to show his cruelty but my god). She hasn’t even tried to search for the recording or even plan anything. He has a lot more power over her, she had like no leverage. Elliot had to freaking help her come up with a plan!
Like most of her feelings and reactions were super realistic (like I can see it) but omg she frustrated me.
What happened in the ending finally happened jfc, so I’m happy about that. Believe me when I say I’m still hooked but this book,l just wasn’t my favorite but I understand that it needed to happen because it was very emotionally oriented and everything finally caught up to her but my god she had no plan or power!
