Maybe more like 2.5 stars. I rounded up because I love the Tenth Doctor and the Weeping Angels.

He's not my favorite incarnation of the Doctor, but he's not bad.

Enjoyed this much better than the first volume. Liked the Angel story, but feel they, as an enemy, are becoming vastly overused. These comics like to over exaggerate certain charactetistics or sayings of the doctor. This time it was him flipping the war switch and getting pissy about death. Maybe it is the medium's fault but there wasn't a build up to it like in the show, so it came off very confrontational.

Reread - updated on 8th January 2018:
I enjoyed reading this a lot more this time than I did when I first read it. The WWI storyline made me cry this time as well and it made me just sit and think a while.
First read: 21st January 2017:
I thought the main story was well written and I loved the WWI element and that element with the Weeping Angels was a brilliant mixture overall and it worked well. However the story at the end was a bit less well written in that the trouble was stopped before it essentially started.
I also thought that the art was better in vol 1 than in this volume and that Gabriella Gonzalez was written better in volume 1, which is two of the reasons it got 4 stars.

Most of this book was great. I mean, just look at that cover, it pretty much says it all. The more stand-alone issue at the end, not as much. It felt way too rushed.
