A fantastic story about an old fisherman, and his struggle to catch a great marlin. We get to know a who at first seems rather simple, but who turns out to have much depth of character, he shows great perseverance, compassion and love all while maintaining a stoic attitude to each situation he encounteres. A truly great story, and a quick read.
