My first Hemingway. A simple story, and I really enjoyed it. Exactly what you would expect from a book titled The Old Man and the Sea. 

"Only I have no luck anymore. But who knows? Maybe today. Every day is a new day. It is better to be lucky. But I would rather be exact. Then when the luck comes you are ready"
