Just brilliant writing. I found myself deeply emotionally invested in the protagonist Sharon Kisses early on in the book to the point where I had to keep putting it down because I was worried about what was going to happen to her if I kept reading. But keep reading I did and I don’t regret it.

Really enjoyed the book. Was sad about Mel. Came close to 5 starts but ending and some parts a little unnecessary.

This is the, “I fell in love with a straight girl” book.

It’s frustrating, because this book is told from Sharon’s perspective. Sharon is straight, and we continually see that throughout the book, even though it’s clear to everyone that Mel is in love with Sharon.

This book should have been told from a dual perspective. Or there should have been a sequel from Mel’s perspective. I was upset, really, because Mel is this character that parties and parties and parties to get away from her past, and you want to scream, because there is so much more to her, and it is so clear that Sharon is missing it. You need to know more. You NEED to know more.

Yes, I did develop a crush on Mel while reading this book. Why do you ask?

reading this right after tomorrowx3 was so good. I love fiction. I love little stories about fucked up people. the friendship in this is so real and beautiful and fucked. I love both characters. I love everything that happens. it's not a fancy or life-changing read. it's just a nice tale to get wrapped up in. and I feel like I really need that from reading right now. <3
